Data entry instead of real work

Prior to implementing the Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and a custom automation app built by Intermino, the Red Cross of Vojvodina spent a significant portion of their time collecting data by email and creating spreadsheets by hand.

A dedicated team had to invest time in performing regular data chores such as:

  • Sending out email requests to dozens of local Red Cross organizations, asking them to send back reports of voluntary blood donorship campaigns.

  • Sending out email reminders to those local Red Cross organizations that did not respond, for various reasons.

  • Manually copying data from emails and other data sources into the ERP system, as well as manually maintaining spreadsheets.

  • Preparing management reports and transfering data into yet more spreadsheets for reporting to the parent Red Cross organization.
